Antonio “Nino” Malusa
1938-2021
The man who started it all. An immigrant from Grado, Italy who fell in love with Francesca “Frances” , a fellow immigrant from Naples. They met in America, started a family and lived the “American Dream”. They started with a Pizzeria which turned into multiple restaurants. With the help of their son Anthony Malusa(head Chef of Nino’s), they gave the locals of the Jersey Shore a Mom & Pop restaurant that hit the charts. Known as the best Italian food in Cape May County for their authentic homemade cuisine, and large portions. Nino was a great father, husband, and Chef. His presence and love for cooking will never be forgotten. We love you Nonno!
In Loving Memory…
Daughter of Nino & Frances, known as Joann, took over the family’s first business venture and ran “Tony’s Pizza” in Vineland, NJ for over 20 years. Joann was an amazing cook herself, just like her mother and father. She loved cooking for her family and hosting parties. With an infectious smile still on her face , Joann battled Multiple Sclerosis for many years. In 2018, Eufemia was laid to rest at 56 years old, and set free. She is a part of the Nino’s legacy and will forever be remembered.
